About Andrew Chalk
Andrew Chalk BA (Hons), DipMgmt (Open), DipM, FCIM, FRSA
I am a classically trained marketing practitioner with over twenty years of marketing and sales experience within the UK and Continental Europe.
I have been fortunate to work for some great companies including Black and Decker, Blue Circle, Qualcast and IBM. I have been involved in virtually every classical marketing role and some less conventional ones too and spells in national account and sales management have provided a different perspective. Since 1995 I have held director level positions and prior to establishing Outside In Marketing Limited I was Managing Director of a consumer durables business.
Since graduating in 1985 with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies with a marketing specialism, I have remained firmly committed to continuous professional development. I have attained the Diploma of The Chartered Institute of Marketing as well as the Open University Business School's Professional Diploma in Management.
My dedication to the marketing profession and commitment to further study has been recognised by the achievement of Chartered Marketer status every year since 2000, as well as Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
I am a firm believer in putting something back. I am a Business Mentor with the Princes Trust and I am also Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Regional Board for the East of England.
